Renesola Accelerates Production Line Deployment at Yancheng Base, Driving Comprehensive Industrial Upgrade

In the spring of 2025, Renesola actively seized opportunities in the industry’s development, advancing the construction of its Yancheng base project to secure a leading position in the new energy sector and propel industrial upgrading. Leveraging its cutting-edge N-type TOPCon technology and intelligent production equipment, the company has distinguished itself in a fiercely competitive market, building exceptional technological competitiveness and laying a solid foundation for both technical innovation and production capacity.

Accelerating Production Line Debugging to Boost Capacity

On February 13, 2025, reporters from Yandu News visited Renesola’s Yancheng base. At the site, technicians were conducting final adjustments to the production equipment, while construction teams expedited finishing work inside the factory. Currently, three of the five planned intelligent production lines in Phase I of the project are undergoing intensive debugging, with the remaining two expected to complete installation and enter service by late April.

The Yancheng production base, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan, is being developed in two phases. Phase I covers 180 mu (approximately 12 hectares) of land and involves the construction of 70,000 square meters of factory space to establish 5GW of photovoltaic module production capacity. Phase II will occupy 170 mu (about 11.3 hectares) and add 90,000 square meters of facilities dedicated to producing key photovoltaic materials such as frames, brackets, welding ribbons, and solar cells. This vertical integration aims to create a complete industrial chain from module manufacturing to material supply, enabling Renesola to achieve breakthroughs in technology, capacity, and supply chain integration, thereby strengthening its competitive edge in the global new energy market.

Currently, the five Phase I production lines are being installed and debugged in an orderly manner. The first line commenced operations on February 15, followed by the second on February 25, with subsequent lines slated to launch every 10 days. Peripheral infrastructure construction is progressing simultaneously, with completion expected shortly to ensure rapid scaling of production capabilities.

Parallel Focus on Technological Innovation and Industrial Chain Synergy

Over the next three years, Renesola plans to expand the Yancheng base’s module production capacity from 5GW to 10-15GW while achieving dual enhancement in output value and production capacity through continuous optimization of the production chain. The company will also increase R&D investment to drive iterative upgrades of new technologies and products, ensuring it maintains technological leadership in a competitive market.
