Thai Delegation Visits ReneSola: Teaming Up for New Market Opportunities

Recently, ReneSola welcomed a significant delegation—four representatives from Thailand's Island Corporation—who arrived for a one-day in-depth inspection and strategic talks. During a four-hour exchange, both parties delved into core issues such as establishing a joint venture factory in Thailand and building brand-direct stores, culminating in a series of substantive cooperative outcomes. Mr. Dai, a leader from Andes Surface Technology Co., Ltd., also participated in the reception and discussions.

Strategic Alignment
The talks clarified two main pillars of collaboration between ReneSola and Island , marking the official launch of a dual-path strategy: "localized manufacturing + brand-direct operations."

• Establishing Brand-Direct Stores: Plans are underway to set up brand-direct stores in Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand's two major commercial hubs, to directly reach end consumers and serve as core windows for brand showcase and technology experience.

• Localized Manufacturing: Achieving localized production of core components through a joint venture factory to shorten supply chain cycles and enhance market response efficiency.

• Demonstrating New Energy Applications: Showcasing the practical application of new energy technologies through live demonstrations of rooftop PV systems and dynamic displays of energy storage systems.

• Developing an Interactive Mini-Program: Plans to develop ASEAN's first "PV Configuration Simulator" mini-program, allowing users to input housing information to generate personalized solutions, thereby enhancing consumer interaction. 

During the discussions, both sides engaged in deep dialogue on core technical aspects of the new energy industry chain. Considering Southeast Asia's unique climate, electricity usage habits, and policy direction, they reached clear cooperative intentions for three major product lines: energy storage systems, inverters, and charging piles. The aim is to jointly develop highly adaptable, customized products through technology sharing, resource integration, and localized innovation, building a full-scenario ecosystem covering power generation, storage, and consumption.
